Terms of Service

  Important: HonestlyAI is a general-purpose AI assistant. It is not intended for use with protected health information, attorney-client privileged communications, payment card data, classified government information, or any data subject to specialized regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, FedRAMP, etc.).

1. The Service

HonestlyAI provides AI-powered assistance via web chat and Telegram bot interfaces. We generate text, code, images, videos, and voice audio based on your prompts. We operate on cloud infrastructure with reasonable security measures.

2. What You Cannot Submit

You agree NOT to use HonestlyAI for:

Protected Health Information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA
Attorney-client privileged communications or work product
Payment card numbers or financial account credentials
Government classified or controlled unclassified information
Children's personal information under COPPA (users must be 18+)
Illegal content, CSAM, or terrorism-related material
Automated spam, harassment, or abuse of our infrastructure

3. Data Storage

Your chat history is stored to enable conversation continuity. We retain this data for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted. We do not sell your data. We may use anonymized prompts to improve our systems.

Your Telegram bot token (if connected) is stored encrypted at rest and is only used to poll your bot for messages.

4. Security

We implement standard security practices: TLS encryption in transit, container isolation, database access controls, and automated abuse detection. However, no system is perfectly secure. By using HonestlyAI, you accept that data breaches, while unlikely, are a possibility inherent to all cloud services.

5. Limitation of Liability

HONESTLYAI AND ITS OPERATORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Errors, hallucinations, or incorrect outputs from the AI
Data breaches caused by third-party services (Stripe, Telegram, Cloudflare)
Your misuse of the service in violation of these terms

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel anytime through your Stripe Customer Portal (link provided in your welcome email). No refunds for partial months. We reserve the right to terminate service for Terms of Service violations.

7. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
