Privacy Policy

TL;DR: We store your chats so the AI remembers context. We keep them for 90 days then delete them. We don't sell your data. We can't read your Telegram messages (they're on Telegram's servers, not ours).
1. What We Collect
When you use HonestlyAI, we collect:
- Chat messages — What you type and what the AI replies, to maintain conversation context
- Stripe billing data — Your email, subscription tier, payment status (handled by Stripe, not stored by us)
- Telegram bot token — If you connect a Telegram bot, we store its API token to poll for messages
- IP address & user agent — For abuse detection and rate limiting (retained 30 days)
2. What We Don't Collect
- Your Telegram messages (we only see what you send to your bot, not your private chats)
- Your social media passwords (Content360 OAuth handles auth, we never see passwords)
- Payment card numbers (Stripe handles all payment data)
- Real names or government IDs (we only need an email for billing)
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service — Your chat history is loaded into the AI so it remembers what you discussed
- Improve the service — We may review anonymized prompts to fix bugs or improve responses
- Prevent abuse — Rate limiting, fraud detection, Terms of Service enforcement
- Billing — Stripe needs your email to send receipts and handle subscription management
4. Data Retention
- Chat history: 90 days from last activity, then automatic deletion
- Billing records: 7 years (tax requirement, stored in Stripe, not our DB)
- IP logs: 30 days for abuse detection, then deleted
- Account data: Until you delete your account or we terminate service
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Stripe — For payment processing (covered by Stripe's privacy policy)
- Telegram — When you use your own bot, messages go through Telegram's servers (covered by Telegram's privacy policy)
- Cloudflare — DNS and CDN services (covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy)
- Law enforcement — Only if required by valid subpoena or court order
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Request a copy of your data by messaging @Marcus_Agent1_bot
- Delete your account and all associated data by messaging @Marcus_Agent1_bot
- Export your chat history from the web chat interface
- Disconnect your Telegram bot at any time (removes token from our systems)
7. Security
We use TLS for all data in transit, database access controls, and container isolation. However, we are a small team and do not have the resources of a Fortune 500 security department. We fix vulnerabilities as we find them. If you discover a security issue, please report it to [email protected].
8. Children's Privacy
HonestlyAI is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used our service, contact us immediately.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice.
